Ok so update. Took me a week. I only used a circular saw and a drill. This was my first big project and your plans made it super easy. Can't get the same wood here in Australia so I used 90x45mm pine for the frame and 140x19mm merbau for the seats and table top. Looks amazing 🤩

Built these exact chairs 5 years ago... Is this new video or old?

As a cabinet maker I will say this video is good . However , for a furniture quality drawer face , I wouldn’t use brads to temporarily hold drawer face in place . - but with the quality in this video it’s ok . I could make a you tube video on its own with 5 ways to line up drawer faces depending on situation . I would say in my career this has been one of the most trivial time consuming aspects , until I adopted the best strategies ( that I like ). . Especially with bank of drawers . Eg, 4 high.

Wife just asked me “Well now what’re we gonna sit on?” So to Ana’s channel I go! I’ll be doing this for sure! 😊 2 questions… 1)We apart have 24x24 cushions, would you recommend I shorten everything and 2) Should there be an additional back support a bit higher or does it feel like the one 2x4 back support is enough? I've built over a 100 drawers in the past with the old "guessing game" technique and doing the math. So frustrating! I just built a few today using your method. Wow! So easy!! Perfect first time. What a great technique! I'll never build drawers any other way again! Thanks for sharing!

Nice design tool. However, it requires 10 vertical bays - no way I can see to change that. But, as I said, very nice for a simple design not requiring "custom" joint details.

Thank you very much for the advice on the penetrating stain. I used to use polyurethane on my bare wood exterior projects, and a lot of times, the finish would end up drying out and cracking over time. I would end up painting them with elastomeric paint, which usually hold up on all surfaces. But that would take me away from my want to see natural wood surfaces outside my home. So as soon as this weekend, I may be trying out your coating tip.

Did you have any issues with the lumber expanding in the drawer area?
